After a breathtaking world premiere in Jerusalem we are loking forward
to perform the winning piece of this year's Al Quds Composition Award in Ramallah.
The concert takes place on Saturday, October 12th at 6.30 pm (wintertime)
at the Mahmoud Darwish Foundation.

We are proud to announce the young Syrian composer YAZAN LOUJAMI as the winner of this
year's Al Quds Composition Award.
His musical creation was inspired by the poem "Qais, Majnoun Laila" by Palestinian poet
MAHMOUD ABU HASHHASH.

The piece will be surounded by compositions of Giuseppe Verdi, Henry Purcell, W.A.
Mozart and G.F. Händel as well as tradional arabic melodies.
Among the performing artists are Hiba Awad, Slavomir Horinka, Sylvia Khittl-Muhr, Karl
Kronthaler, Lisa Mostin, Sarah Said, Hanin Rjoub, Ferran Sola Albrich, Sama Shafea and
Rita Tawil.
